Animal Day at School...

Today is animal day as part of spirit week at Justus' School. 

We opted for a tiger (because he liked it and it was accommodating to my limited artistic ability).

I can only imagine the behavior that will follow this morning!

I have been working diligently all day, until now, to try to get my house in order for the week. This has been a massive challenge today with "the boats sailing away" as I am trying to fold laundry. The boats were my four laundry baskets that I was putting folded laundry into by the way. My children have been having fun today pretending.

After a few hours of trying to clean while feeding babies, changing diapers, chasing laundry baskets etc. I hit one hour of absolute peace. I put my three older children in room time together and they played wonderfully today. However, in the midst of the play I noticed Pierce was a little too quiet. So I went to check it out and this is what I found...

After trying many eczema creams on Pierce's feet, my doctor had us try LARD and it works the best so far. Since he likes it on his feet, he apparently thought why not his whole body,the pillow, the blankets, his clothes...and heck, why not the drums too!!
